Hey. My Celica isn't that fast, but i want to at least be able to beat other celica drivers. I don't have a lot of money. I got a hot dog muffler not too long ago. I was wondering if getting all the crap outta my catylictic converter would make any difference? Like would it allow the gas to flow a bit more freely hence freeing up more HP? Even if it's only 2 or 3.
Can I just unbolt it or something, then smash the crap outta it? Or is it welded on and i would have to chop it off and then weld pipe or the smashed out cat back in?
Also, I want to improve my air induction system. I hear that my model celica ST184 1990 already has a good system, where a pipe comes from the front of the car up to the air box. Could i improve this with just a bit of piping or something? I just bought a new filter for it.
Thanks alot guys
