Thu, 11 September 2003 23:32 Last night i was driving around on this road that i always take a short cut through.. its in the middle of no where and this was late Ive got it sideways a fair bit and ive gone to countersteer and i was met with this clunk sound.... anyway... at this point im without steering and heading towards a tree... ive hit the picks.. locked em up and managed to stop and avoid everything. I reversed and then drove up the road under a light and had a look. I managed to snap the steering column! i dont know about anyone else but i have NEVER heard of a steering coloum breaking in ANY car! [Report message to a moderator]
