Mon, 15 September 2003 01:38 I'm building a 2TG for a rally car, and obviously it's going to take a fair bit of stress. It'll probably be in the 5500 - 7500 rev range alot. It's my understanding (I'm new to building 2TGs) that the bottom end is fairly strong, and can rev quite well up to ~8000 rpm. But the head is not so strong. Basically I need some advice, are their any common component failures that I should be aware of that I can fix (before i blow them up myself)? I'm going to spend quite a bit building up this engine, so expense shouldn't really be an issue, but obviously if there are as good cheap solutions I'm all ears. [Report message to a moderator]
