What to do about crappy paint!

Not real happy with the standard of the paint on my car at the moment, I've waxed it few times and it does come up much better but it only lasts a few months at best....it washes fine but there are stains that are really hard to get out without turtle wax (what I use at the moment).
Anyone got any suggestions (besides a respray  ) or products that seem to work well?
Here are a few pics (it was washed about 2hrs b4 too  ) Not the best in the world but you get the idea.
