Mr 20Valve Regular Location: Sydney Registered: May 2002	I bought a TE-72!!! - questions inside! Mon, 29 September 2003 01:27 Picked it up on saturday... A 1980 TE-72 T-18 SE. $1500! Its metallic poo-brown, with a fire breathing 3T-C & some awesome high performance retreads on some shiny steel rims. The luxury tan velour interior features some classy brown & white central racing stripes, reminiscent of grandmas couch from back in the '70s... Oh, and a genuine woodgrain dash fascia from a plastic walnut tree. Dunno why i didnt get a car like this years ago instead of the AE-86!!?!??! Now, in all seriousness... It handles like a boat. Will AE-86 suspension components fit the TE-72? (shocks & springs, specifically)? will a 2TG twincam head bolt onto the 3T block? if so, what do i need to do it? (the amount i know about T series engines can be written on the head of a pin.... but i'm more than willing to learn! ) - dont wanna go injection, im a member of 'Team Povo' now... the less it costs the better, so carbs are the go. Is there anything else i should know about these cars/engines that i can do to make it a little bit better? Any & all help would be appreciated. - Haydn [Report message to a moderator]
