Destination - Kangaroo Valley & Tallowa Dam
You asked for it and you got it. This will be SCR's longest organised Cruise to date. Monday is the Public Holiday and we are heading South for a picnic at Tallawa Dam.
This cruise is perfect for families and all cruisers who love a day on the road. This is one long trip people taking in some awesome driving and fantastic roads.
Before attending this Cruise be sure you:
Fill your tanks - Very important
Check your oil and water
Check your tyre pressure and brakes
For those people with kids be sure to bring along sunscreen and a simple first aid kit for insect bites.. We will be picnicing in the bush and while investigating the BBQ area there was a hungry looking 1.2M Goanna lurking so be sure to keep an eye out whilst in the park.
SCR will be providing sausages, chicken kebabs, bread rolls and drinks at minimal cost to all people attending. If you require food and drinks while driving or would like salads etc with your lunch please pack that and bring along with you.
There is not alot of shade or seating at the picnic area. Bring along something to sit on while there and something to mess around with ie Football, frisbee's etc. Swimming, well you can swim there if you want but we aren't sure about the safety aspect of it, you might like to decide that when there.
Anyways for more information check the forums www.sydcruise.com. The meet time is:
Meet from 8.30am Homebush
Depart at 9.30am Sharp
Unfortunately we will be bypassing Wollongong but will have a gathering point at the Kiama Blowholes at approximately 11.30am and only waiting there for about 10 minutes. Too meet up with us there please call us on the SCR mobile phone on the day from 8.30am 0421 CRUISE.
