Idle Problems on 20v Fri, 03 October 2003 05:05 Go to previous message
Hey guys i'm needing help from the people who have a 20v silvertop and an aftermarket computer.

It looks like my aftermarket computer cannot run my ilde up.
This didn't seem a problem so it has been left unhooked. I have jsut realised that this is the problem to my high idle. For some reason if the stepper motor is off it leaves the throttle open about half way i think. THis means that i get high idle.
If i connect it straight to 12v it cuts the engine as it shuts off flow.

Does anyone know how to 1) either the right current and voltage to keep it at standard idle or 2) knows how to set it up to work again with some type of aftermarket system?

I'm running a wolf 3d and it doesn't have the function to run it properly(at all) cos it only has 1 aux. and that is being used for the VVT.
