Tacho Problems Wed, 08 October 2003 02:00 Go to previous message
After Getting the 18R-GEU on the road and rolling I've been driving around like a bit of a grandpa until I'm sure there are no probs. Last night I gave her a bit off at a set of lights watching the tacho closely I noticed that it hits about 6000rpm smoothly then after 6000 starts to jump all over the shop.
Would this be the limitation of the electronic dizzy or what?
I've checked connections etc. But I'm out of ideas.
any ideas or rectifications?

Cheers
