coronamark2 Forums Junkie Location: Perth Registered: May 2003	please help my engine is sick Wed, 08 October 2003 02:26 I drove to a mates place last night (car drove sweet) stayed there for a few hours went to leave started the car and it made a very horrid noise from my engine it was like theres metal bashing metal it could still idle just and if i reved it the noise would get louder/faster, theres was absoultley nothing wroung with it when i drove it 3hrs before, im no mechanical boffin when it comes to inside the engine what could it be? I still drove it home and it ran but this noise was fkn loud my mate reckoned it might be the cam or timing chane because if it was a piston it wouldnt go at all right? Or some one said it could be a snapped valve any suggestions would be very appreciated. i'll have to get the engine stripped to find out what it is.
