Hi there, seeing as I have caused some damage to my turbo, it's time to play around with it. I am thinking of a replacement down-pipe, hi flow or replacement turbo (Looks like I can get a brand new T04e for not much more that the hi-flow cost of the CT26 - is this a good turbo? be nice to me I am a ex V8 owner who has crossed to the darkside) and a custom manifold. A visit to ATS is on the cards for tomorrow. Right, the stock ecu. Can it be reprogrammed? OR can I get a piggyback for it to remap the fuel tables so I can safely increase the boost to 15 (or 20 ). What about using a ST205 or ST185 Grp A ecu?? Also longer term I would like to track down an ST205 (96 or later) front cut (or a rolling write off from Japan) and do an engine swap. Is feasible or a waste of time?? I will need a new motor in the next 6 - 12 months so I want to get one soon and have it professionally rebuilt. Basically I want 250 - 300 at all 4 wheels. Plus I want to be able to race around Winton at full boost without blowing the motor. Low 12's would be an added benefit (to stick it to my LS1 mates - I sold my 235rwkw VX SS to buy a play car).
