Crank angle sensors and microtech help please Wed, 24 July 2002 11:01 Go to previous message
Hey guys, I am an old school guy points/dwell etc. I desperately need some expert electrical advice.

Putting a new computer MT in a TA22 with 3TGEU.

Can an old dizzy with a hall effect sensor act as a crank angle sensor?

Hall effect sensor, has wire in wire out. = 2 wires

Crank angle sensors appear to have a signal generator, and a hall effect sensor. = 4 wires.

If I hook this up incorrectly, I risk damage.

Tis a tad too late in the evening to call microtech, any help would be greatly appreciated,

regards, Chuck.
