Best way to deal with car rust? Thu, 23 October 2003 02:49
Okay, before I give my car to a workshop to do the rust i cant do myself i wanna do some that i can.... pulled my boot seal off the other day and some parts of it are rusted away completely so I wanna do that myself!. how sthe best way to go about it?
Ive got an angle grinder and also a wire brush blade for it.. so should i cut it out with angle grinder and then use the brush blad to clear it out.. then treat it with rust killer and weld another peice in? and primer and paint it up?.
also whats some good rust prevention techniques?

Thanks

Edit: ohh this might have been better in tech, feel free to move it
