I did a bit of a search on this topic. A lot of good info, but didn't quite answer all the questions I have. I want to shift the battery in my car from the engine bay to the rear (which is the luggage area on my wagon) Couple of reasons for doing this 1. I need to try to fit 2 intercooler pipes plus an air intake pipe through the area where the battery currently resides. 2. Cause my car is a diesel, the battery is huge (about double the size in every dimension to a petrol battery) hence the reason to fit 3 x 2.5" pipe through its space 3. Cause its big, it also heavy (2 carry handles are on it), so the weight advantage of it being in the back are better than for petrol) Questions: 1. What are the voltage problems that can occur? (Remembering that diesels have a big battery 660CCA to crank the glow plugs before startup + turning a 23:1 comp engine over) 2. What are the legal problems (ie venting, securing)? 3.
