Hi, I am planning on lowering my 1990 Celica ST184 soon. I just have a few questions i am sure somebody can answer

1. What are good brands? All i have heard of is King Springs

2. What are coil overs and all other suspension things (i can't find anything on google for just simple explinations)

3. Should I trust a mate to do this, or is it one of those jobs i should leave to a professional.

4. what needs to get done after the springs are installed? I heard that it needs to be aligned/balanced or something

5. In a normal job, like i got quoted $500 for, do they just put new springs, or is there new other stuff as well?

Thanks
