Shimming oil pump Thu, 23 October 2003 13:50 Go to previous message
I have reason to doubt my oil pump being slack. +20 years is good reason for me Razz . But anyway, recently I bought few brand new rotor kits for it(I did get really good discount Smile ).
Now I have been thinking of shimming the oil pump while its out. How thick shim I should start looking for. Some yank site suggest 1/8" shim for some american POS. 1/8" sounds rather thick to me. 1mm was what I thought.
Motor in my case is 3T if it matters.
