I agree with billy... comparing a vn to an nsx is pretty fuken stupid... a vn handles like a boat..
if u put a stock nsx vs. a stock supra on a track the nsx would beat it no problems... it's the handling which makes it a super car...
my friend owns the eclipse nsx and until you have been in an nsx ya shouldn't bad mouth it... it goes hard.. to say the least
n/a engine is where its at... no turbo lag as well.. 
i could go on about how many cars he's beaten but i cbf...
neone just my opinion...

theres the difference: im not a fan of face value. You underestimate that shitbox in the next lane at your own peril. Besides, try sourcing a replacement water pump for your NSX at your local Repco.
Maybe im stretching it, but what about a VN coupe? absolutely screams exclusivity, and will even make Monaro drivers jealous (ok im REALLY stretching it).
Just food for thought.

well i get your point man.. but to me i dont' find ne commodore exclusive...
from my experience in my friends nsx.. i have yet to see any car that beats it... im sure there are 10 second vl turbos out there on the streets.. but i know for a fact that if there is a bend in the road then it will not be able to keep up... and a thrash for the vl could well fuk up the gearbox..
honda reliability and driveability..
face value is important too man... even if you love sleepers u want you car to look good and thats the bottom line... and the nsx looks sexier than any hotted up VN...

Its all relative, fark for $80k you could build your own frame and stick a brand new 2J straight from the toyota factory in it.
Its up to personal preference, i like nsx's, but they have arent worth more than $100k.

i dunno about you guys... but i thought that the nsx wasn't worth it's price.. and it prolly isn't.. but i've been in one and it goes pretty hard.. looks nice.. sounds mad... i don't think its fair to judge the car based on specs you found off an internet site.. and the car is a track car that can be daily driven... the onli thing lettin it down is the price...

What SOME people in here don't realise is that you can't keep coming back to the age old excuse of:

personally i think just about all japanese car brands kick arse. i happend to buy my celica because the bits are shit easy to get, perfect for club racing, within my price range at the time, and it looks cool. i was concidering a 240z, but was a little out of my price range when i went to buy. toyota, honda, nissan and mazda all make some awesome cars. i just cant stand typical aussie brands, mainly because they are generally technically inferior (holden and i think the ford 'ka' STILL use push rods?? wtf??)

The Commodore was nearly $180000 cheaper (new VN Commodore 30000, new auto NSX 210000). $180000 buys a lot of suspension mods.........

i have been in / driven many fast cars that is the point why spend a $100000 on a POS NSX when you could spend half of that on a car that would piss all over it, for instance a supercharged gen3 putting out 500hp at the wheels that i've been in wouldnt need to get out of third to spank it.
i was stating my opinion on the NSX i dont like them there ugly they are ridicoulusly expensive and there a honda.

toyotas and hondas i rekon are in the same league... both jap.. both reliable... honda obviously has the more expensive parts but have better engines...
