Hey guys, I'm going to have my W55 out of the donor car soon and I was wondering what if anything I should be doing to it while it is out (as I figure its the time to do it )?
All the gears and the rest of the box (no bearing noise / synco troubles) seems great except for reverse (I know it doesn't have a synco but it has something similar doesn't it?), at anything more than idle revs it will clunk, or sometimes grind, if you try and select reverse. Is this a pain to fix while its out, and does it require specialized tools? If its only $20 and some time that would be tops.
Cheers
Wilbo
