Come on people have u never seen drooln!!
ran stock motor on 6psi (turbo) got 290kw, just need a good computer for tuning,

stock 20v silver top 10.5-1 black top 11-1
gze - 8.5-1 & 8.9-1 (not sure if there is any others)

than as everyone else says there is the mighty
4agze bottom end takes a nice 25psi boost. Very Happy
slap on the 20valve head ond your boosting off your head like sam (4agte 20v close to 500hp)

so if your really going down this track get a gze bottom end, because no matter how much u tell me u will be happy with 290kw, when there is an easy way of getting another 150kw out of it i will not beleve u.

regards Craig

and it is pretty much as easy as that...gotta love the 4AG!!!

you could always use the 7E? 7F? 1.8L bottom end with GZE pistons and machined timing belt adjuster pulley (2.0mm) with the 20V head and a nice turbo with 20psi boost.

yum yum. Cool

Gee, wish I'd run on that dyno, even the 21R-C would crack 100kW. Sorry, but at 6psi, even with one of the most efficient turbos known to man there is no way a 20v is going to produce 290kW.

Putting a 20v head on a GZE bottom end isn't as simple as it sounds. Remember the GZE pistons have reliefs cut into them for 4 valves, which is likely to cause issues if you throw a 5-valve head into the mix!

I'm not denying thats what you've heard but even you have to realise it takes a lot more than 6psi on a small NA engine to see 290kW.

i will second what justcallmefrank there is no way on 6 psi that a 1.6 motor will get those figures. Not even with a comp of 11.0 and then the turbo of a gt35 or some ridiculas size that wouldnt even spool up till 5 grand on a 1.6. who ever told u that figure is pulling you d#$k.
if some one tells u that again ask them for the dynbo sheet

I was trying to stay out of it, but alas i cannot.

I third the abovementioned crazy statement, not to mention its hypothetical fuel and tuning requirements.

A 290kw High Compression 20v 1.6 on less than 0.5bar, me thinks not Confused
