As you do, I sold my last 3TGTE exhaust manifold gasket the other day, only to need one today! Went to my local Supercheap store and asked for a gasket to suit, where in the guy behind the counter proceeded to call Toyota and came back with a price of $94.25, I started laughing at him. He then called a non genuine supplier and wrote his buy in figure down in front of me, $12.60. After some feverish calculations he came back with a new price of $26.?? Now, I'm not too sure of the exact figure as again I started laughing and walking out. I went to Auto One and bought the gasket I neeeded for $14.00, I'm happy! I seem to be striking fucking stupid prices alot lately, it certainly pays to shop around and have the ability to do mental math on the spot! I am still wondering however, if the guys quoting the prices feel like the absolute tosspots they make themselves out to be, be quoting such prices?! [Report message to a moderator]
