RA28 Forums Junkie Registered: May 2002	1ggte driving but still not happy... Mon, 29 July 2002 05:42 Well I took the 1G for a drive this afternoon and boy does it go. But I still think it isn't runing properly, it idles unusally high. It seemed better thismorning but after taking it for a drive, it went back into open loop or something, the idle sped up and now it doesn't go as hard. Is there a way to hook up the old temp guage in a 77 celica to use the 1G's sensor? then I would know it is working.. I want to try to sort this out by Wednesday as i am going to get my exhaust done then and I want to drive it...BAD! Would the checkk engine light come on if it is faulty? how does the check engine work? Is it a + signal comming into the cabin that has to be earthed through a bulb? Thanks for your help, Tim.
