mrshin Forums Junkie Location: Montrose, VIC Registered: May 2002	Shimming 4AG oil pump Sat, 15 November 2003 08:15 I want to increase the oil pressure slightly (about 10psi) on my 4AG. Seeing as I am pulling the sump, water pump and timing belt off anyway to fit other parts (not to mention taking the engine out of the car...), I just wanted to hear from anybody with any experience in playing with the oil pump both suggestions of shim thickness, and if there's anything to watch when putting it in - I don't want to find out I got it wrong the hard way! (I realise it's a relatively straightforward thing, but they say the only stupid question is one not asked... maybe... now may I please have another cookie?)
