Lowering Springs Wed, 19 November 2003 02:40 Go to next message
Hey, I just got my car lowered with kings super low springs. I was wondering how long you guys reccon it will take before the springs reach the height that they will stay at. Like people have told me that they will get lower in the next couple of days. Is it a few days sort of thing, or more like a week or two? Is there any way to make it happen quicker (impatient bastard Razz) Thanks

ISAAC - Kings Super Lows are damn low from factory, it says springs only intended for show use anyway, as others said id you want them to go lower drive a lot, and corner hard.

DREXTC - I have 1.5inch lower King Springs all round with monroe Gt Gas shocks, that combo is used on heaps of cars, look in your mags like fastfours and zoom and youll see that combo, my car handles like on rails but guards are rubbing coz of 17z, that will be rolled soon. At the time that pic was taken the car was low on fuel when its full it has a lower stance.

This is what it looks like:

What kinda height can you get away with in Melbourne anyway? I know you are supposed to have 10cm clearance, but is that all around? Or just on certain spots?

from what i understand, the 100mm mesurement is taken from the lowest part of the car ie. the exhaust.
