hi before i take my 4AGE bluetop AE82 to my mechanic i would like to ask for opinions since most of the toyota know it all are from here ...
well the situation is when i take my car for a drive it doesnt take anymore longer than 15 minutes before it reaches the first High Temperature line on my temp guage ... the car drives pretty normal when itz cold and warm enough to drive but then the temperature just keeps on rising ... this does not happen when it is left idling, only when i start to drive the car ... and i get very very anoyed because every 15 minutes i have to stop and wait till it gets cold ... the car however gets back to cold in no longer than 15 minutes ... i have already replaced my thermo stat and got my thermo fan checked and they all working fine ... i have also replaced my radiator cap since the old one was abit lose ... but this did not affect the problem ... the radiator is not leaking and is not losing compression since it was fully checked by my mechanic ... and everytime my rev goes back down it keeps going down untill the car stalls ... and itz anoying stalling everytime u let go of the accelerator ...
so now i am asuming it is iether the
* radiator core being blocked with mud and other stuff ...
or
* my head gasket is about to go and needs a new one ...
my friend has also advised me that it could well be my water pump
what is ur opinion ??
