icon12.gif  How do i set up this fan successfully? Sun, 30 November 2003 08:52 Go to previous message
Ok i'm going to keep my other car for summer, it doesnt have an electric fan, only a big ass clutch fan (and it also has a/c..but no spec fan for it.
so, for summer im installing an electric fan as an extra bit of cooling whilst im stuck in traffic with the a/c on.
I want to do the following:
-Have a switch in the car so i can turn it on and off at will.
- And also have it like a thermally controlled one...where after i turn the car off, the fan keeps going to prevent heatsoak.
Note: i dont want the fan running off a thermostat..as i only want to run it at will.
Ive got a relay and switch already...just need to know how i can go about doing the above?
Thanks
Blake.
