Just finished putting a 5speed out of a 98 hilux 2wd into a YN57 previously auto 2wd hilux.
The speedo is out by about 10kph on the high side, does anyone know what the origional diff ratio would be and if it is worthwhile changing the ratios.
The old 3y has been dumped and a balanced 4y with a lot of headwork, cam change and a lot of expensive parts added. It is a very quick lux but could benefit with a bit taller diff.
How many 4y lux's can lay rubber in 3rd?
