trza2k Regular Location: Sydney Registered: January 2003	Mk3 Supra Brake upgrade Fri, 05 December 2003 05:58 Was looking at getting a brake kit from the states for a MA70 supra, the price was pretty good but they use wilwood calipers for the kit which i was told cannot be engineered in Australia for road use as they dont have dust covers (and other things i cant remember?). So ruled this option out. Found another option that requires a bit of this and that to fit, some z32 calipers + supra mk4 rotors to the ma70 supra. Have a look at http://www.70supra.com/supra-diy/caliper/caliper.h tm , best to use http://world.altavista.com to convert the URL from japanese to english. Only concern here is the grinding of 5mm off the hub mount and the other bits they do, dont know if this will be allowed to be engineered. But the kit costs about $500 which is for the 2x special brackets, 2x offset spacers and chromolly bolts, Then of course i would need the calipers+rotors. So just wondering is either of the options 'engineerable' or is there any other cheap options for a brake upgrade for ma70. Thanks.
