spark plugs melting/burning

just had the car serviced and replaced the same type of spark plugs that came out of it. with the short distance of driving home it was running on 3 cylinders. upon removing all 4 spark plugs it was obvisious that were run extremely hot. two were hot but okay, one was badly burnt and damaged and cyclinder 1 had completely melted.
the motor is a 12T but had 2T spark plugs in it as only 3 available australia wide. checked the fuel pressue and at no stage does it run lean. car runs hot so thought if it was running lean it may cause this problem. fixed the cars cooling and now runs much cooler.
anyway replaced all 4 spark plugs with the most heat resistance ones available. after 3 days of general driving (less then 100km) pulled all 4 out. 3 showed signs of running hot and the one in cylinder 2 had completely melted the electrode.
any ideas? i cant keep affording to replace spark plugs. some ford plugs have a very long reach or some type of race plugs. however these are a fix and not a resolution. anyone had similiar problems? any suggestions what it maybe?
thanks
