aarrrggh...all i lack is a licence, trailer, car capable of towing, most of $900, big backyard to store random cars (stupid city) ..well consider this just a bump then. Sad
I hate people who post the sort of sh*t i just wrote. Very Happy

But anyway (apologies for the minor hijack), how does an MX22 ('72) predate an MX13 ('75)?
Not doubting you at all, just curious how the codes fit? 10,13,22,23.. something to do with 2dr vs 4dr? GT etc, feel free to jump in!

There is a separate numbering system used for the sedan and coupe. Early sedan is MX10, early coupe is MX22. Late sedan is MX13, late coupe is MX23.... I think that's all right.

Be something like 1150kg stock.

My MX13 is 1300kg with 70kg driver, fully optioned and with heaps of accessories (aircon, ps, cd player, towbar, central locking, alarm, etc, etc, etc)... soupe is slightly lighter but not much.

Do you have any pictures of the car (coupe)? And what stuff needs doing for a RWC?

Yes there is a numbering system, and here it is:

from http://www.crown-corona.org/

RX12 Sedan 18R 2000 MTM, ATM STD, DLX
MX10 Sedan M 2000 MTM, ATM DLX
MX12 Sedan 2M 2300 MTM, ATM DLX
MX13 Sedan 4M 2600 MTM, ATM DLX

-------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------

RX22 Hardtop 18R 2000 MTM, ATM DLX
MX22 Hardtop 2M 2300 MTM, ATM DLX
MX23 Hardtop 4M 2600 MTM, ATM DLX

-------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------

RX28 Station Wagon 18R 2000 MTM, ATM STD
MX28 Station Wagon 2M 2300 MTM DLX

Does that make things clearer for everyone?
