Hey guys, I have a 4agze engine, basically just finalising a few things on it now, I need to buy coils and an igniter module for it, but I am pretty confused now with what I actually need, My engine is mr2 bottom end and Levin top, My wiring loom is Map, but my computer is Afm..
i have only seen the map sensored ze's and they had 2 coils with 2 connections on each with 1 igniter, A toyota mechanic friend of mine said that the afm ze's need only 1 coil, and have 1 igniter..
basically what i need to know is, how many coils do i need, and just the one igniter?
its a ae92 (1989) model engine (well.. the top half anyways)
and, did the gze's ever come with afm's? or am i just way of base.. i have a diagram of the ecu which has afm stuff on it but the wiring loom doesnt have any afm stuff on it, but it has map..
and i cant afford a aftermarket ecu.. :/
