Well, I take back all the information about the overboosting on my 1JZGTE. What I said was wrong and incorrect. I've solved the problem.
Fuel Filter..
DON'T GET MONKEYS TO SERVICE YOUR CAR!
I got a service done awhile ago that included changing the fuel filter.
They put in the wrong filter (from a mk2 by the looks) and also hooked it up backwards!!
Seems over time the Walbro pump half collasped the filter element and blocked fuel. The engine was running lean causing EGT's to sky rocket causing the turbos to overspeed.
All I can say is I was wonderfully wrong!
I'll be putting it on the dyno soon to see what twin dumps, bar&plate cooler and 0.9bar does. WOOT
