Cressida tail shafts

I need a bit of help on what tail shaft might fit a 1J in an MX-73 cressida. We got the yoke in the back of the new gearbox but it's been cut very close to the uni & won't be 100% trustworthy if fitted to the standard tail shaft. Also the standard rear unis are alot smaller than the one behind the yoke. It can be done, but will cost a little bit too much for something that we will be waiting for to beak.
The other option is a new custom 1 piece which might need a new flange on the diff, which would cost way too close to 1000 bucks for a tail shaft for this car/conversion.
So I'm wondering, does the MX83 tail shaft fit straight up to the 1Js auto? And would the MX83 shaft bolt up to the MX73 diff?
I bet the diffs will have different flanges wont they.....
