GZE Conversion Stalling Wed, 07 January 2004 22:04 Go to previous message
Well my first post in tech and conversions in a while.
I would like to say that my conversion went without a hitch and is working perfectly, but that would be a lie. Embarassed
After some fueling problems (now fixed) i got the GZE idling, but it sounds like its running on 3cyls, and also when i try to apply throttle it almost "chokes" out. As if it isnt getting enough air or fuel. I cant quite tell which. Or it could even be the timing, which was redone when the waterpump was replaced at a mechanics. I know people who have had problems with these mechanics before, and so i wouldnt doubt that they screwed the timing either.

I have made a video of it starting here: http://www.dysfunction.ws/movies/gze_stall.mov

Can anyone give me a hand in troubleshooting it?

Cheers
