Was driving home from a little gathering of the sydney rolla club and I felt like doing some spirited driving so I came through my favorite corners. As I approached them I was confronted by a a middle age dude driving his falcon with a body kit and nice shiny chrome wheels , I think well I need to get infront to get the best line.
At this point he is doing 50 and I'm doing 70 as I overtake and procede to get to 90 , then I look behind and he is still there, behind me , doing 90.
Yeah ok , this guy wants to play , cool
So The corner is a right hander 2 lanes , a nice streched 80 degree curve. I'm in the left hand lane riding the gutter , I take one last look back at the lights in my rear mirror. I down shift to 3rd and punch it, I swerve slighty to the gutter , the wedge it in to the right and apex the turn , on the exit of the turn I hold my foot to the floor and the rear end still feels nice and tight thanks to the swaybar and new shocks. Exit speed is great , I fly up the hill and hit a few soft corners at about 140-150. Now I look back and I see this tool is over 100m behind me and dropping off , I guess he lost his cockyness when he realised that his barge wont turn at the same speed as my modded strolla.
Phew , anyone else get up to anything fun tonight
