New Engine for an SV21 Camry	Mon, 12 January 2004 10:06

Hey my 1992 SV21 camry currently has 198k on the clock. When the engine eventually goes i was thinking of changing to a different engine. I looked up what engines i can get on the site and this is what i came up with: 4A-GZE, 3S-GTE, 5VZ-FE, 1MZ-FE (Pls correct me if I'm wrong about any of this) Now as far as i know the 3S-GTE has been transplanted into Camrys successfully and turbo charged. The 5VZ-FE is the 2.2L L4 engine that replaced the 3S-FE. The 1MZ-FE is the 3.0 V6 that is in gen 3 onwards Camrys You site says the 4A-GZE is"1.6L DOHC EFI 16V supercharged inline four cylinder". What i want to get is the sort of price/availability i would be looking at for engine swapping to one of those engines (including things like extractors, sports chip etc ) And what would give me the best boost in horsepower.
