Much progress was made on Project 2JZ today. Much of the engine-related wiring is done, and the 5-speed is installed. I'm still waiting on a flywheel and clutch, and the crossmember needs to come out again, but apart from that it's just details from here. Woohoo! 
Oh yeah, I got an MP3 of the engine running with no exhaust. It sounds uber-tough! You can download it HERE.
