twum_au Newcomer Location: Victoria, Australia Registered: January 2004	Toyota Liteace on steroids Wed, 14 January 2004 15:56 Hey guys, I have a clean 1985 Liteace van with the 1.8 litre 2Y-C ohv motor and 5 speed and am wanting ideas about fitting a more gutsy engine. The only clue anyone has had for this so far is the larger 4y 2.2 litre which is an easy but not very exciting conversion. The Y series motors are bulletproof but not made for drag racing if you get my drift, a turbo could be a possibility but would not know which bits to use???? I would prefer to use the existing gearbox. Any suggestions welcome Greg [Report message to a moderator]
