Unless you're endangering members of the public I believe.. (eg. doughnuts with a crowd of people gathered around you or something like that..)

Kinda strange that they let people base jump, but not watch people do burnouts. What about all those people at Rally events? I would say that that is about as dangerous as watching someone do burnouts or doughnuts.

if is private property that is sealed off from public access then they cant book u. They can book u in public car parks and places of access like servos.
donuts are a bit more dangerous then a burnout, but so long as every1 knows to keep a safe distance, its all fun.

Yeah if its private property and not open like a servo it should be fine. For example last year when i was at school one of the year 11s lost the back end on his VL, it spun and hit a tree, the car was a write off. He would have been charged for neg/dangerous driving had it been on a public road, but since it wasn't the police couldn't do anything. However he was banned from driving to school.

you can't get booked for driving offences for burnouts in your own property but you can still get lovely fines for noise/air pollution - and the air pollution ones are a whole lot bigger

Rally events are covered by lagre amounts of public liability, which is covered by sponsership and assisted by liability wavers.
And you think that people dont get in trouble for base jumping? Most base jumping is down in desolate towns.

Air pollution only can be booked if there is more than 5 seconds worth of tire smoke....well that was a rule in SA
