 lukey mufflers.. exhaust people help.

 has anyone here had personal experience with the Lukey stainless Ultra-flow glass pack muffler?
i have been reading their book at work and sounds like a decent muffler, for what i need.
in my new system i am going to run 2.5" from the dump pipe, flex pipe, 45 degree then short straight section and then the muffler. the short straight section in between the flex pipe and muffler will be flanged so i can either bolt on a glass pack resontator if it's a little loud, or my cat if i get asked 'politely' to put it on!! 
one problem is our Walker supplier have no 2.5" ultra-flow's available (none interstate too they rekon), but they do have a 3" one in stock. would useing the 3" effect the performance or sound at all?
i can get cheaper Autotechnika cannon style muffler, but the lukey would have to be a better build qaulitiy?
here is a pic of what i have now. 2.5" all the way.
