They have always been Holden fans and couldn't see anything else (Holden tunnel vision syndrome). Well they picked up a new Silver Kluger CVX (middle of the range) the other day and LOVE it. THey took one for a test drive and were shocked at how much pick up and go it had and still didn't make a noise...what I had been telling them Toyotas are good for. They had a 1994 SS Commodore and they reckon the new Kluger has more go than it. It does have more power but not sure about the weight difference. They got it from Mildura Toyota and got a wonderful deal. They got a nudge bar...side steps...tinted windows...the inside and outside Ming treated....a spoiler for the roof and all on the road and payed for for less than RRP!! THey shopped around and the next cheapest was in Melbourne at a dealer there (not sure what one) and it was a full $8000 more! One Toyota dealer was $14,000 more and that was a 2003 model...they got a 2004 model. So anyone out there wanting to buy a new Toyota go to the Toyota dealer in Mildura, Victoria.
