This problem is driving me crazy. My car smokes at idle every now and then.Big bluesh whitish smoke.No pattern to it just every now and then.I run a t28 on a gze. This is what I have done to try to stop it: I have done the valve stem seals. I have both my cam covers with 1" breathers to catch can. I have made sure the return line from turbo is un restricted.I have done comp test [ok]. I can take it for a squirt and idle it for a couple of minutes then pump acelerater no smoke. Which leads me to believe its not the turbo. Have taken it to mechanics and turbo people and they have NFI.Its got me stuffed. The only thing I am not sure of is what sump the dip stick is out of ( maybe when the dipstick is reading full it may actually be over full) But wouldnt it smoke all the time? HELP I dont want to pull the motor and rebuild it to find out it isnt it or the turbo for that matter.
