Okies, the 18RG has been sitting in the shed "OFFICIALLY" too damn long, time to plan out resurrecting the beast.
1. I need to rebuild the twin-dual mikuni-solex's. Is this best left to the professionals, or something that is so easy I should be shot for asking? One of the throats (for cyl 3) isnt responding well to the tuning needle (seems stuck in one place, despite screw movement (tried NOT to use the word screwing then ), would a carby rebuild kit fix this, or should I be doing something else?
2. When altering the tuning screws, I am adjusting the fuel flow (not the air) right? Thus, screwing it IN will result in leaner running (or should I be shot again ;0)
3. Death Rattle - time for some timing gear, doing the whole kit and kaboodle including guides (if they need it upon inspection). Is there anyone cheaper (in Vic is even better) than this dude (http://www.swmotorsport.com.au) for 18RG-U timing parts?
Thanks in advance...
