18rgeu rebuild questions

i am about to rebuild my 18rgeu and have a few questions.
1. is there anything i should look for first.
2. How different is the 18rc head gasket to the 18rgeu one as im pretty sure i only had a 18rc head gasket in my geu.
3. can u buy cheap valve guides from like repco or something and are they the same as the 18rc ones but im assuming there different onm the top chain.
4. Where do i find the tensions for everything or can comeone help me out with that.
basically if there is anything else i should know please let me know
