Anyone good at diagnosing short circuits? Thu, 05 February 2004 11:12 Go to previous message
Well, new battery was dead flat Monday night after installing Sunday arvo Laughing

Confirmed with a test light between the negative cable clamp and negative battery post that there is a short circuit, but I cannot find it yet...

I pulled out every fuse I could readily find one at a time and still the little light stayed on...

I need to disconnect the alternator and see if that's it... bit of a hassle though Mad

I'm actually hoping it is the ALT cause secondhand ones are about $65...

Oh an the engine has developed a nice whining noise from the Vernier Cam gear area at low idle... thanks to the Greenvale thrashing Cool

Come on lil 4af, DIE Evil or Very Mad
AE92 Map, 4AGZE come forth Very Happy
