chubbylover53 Regular Registered: April 2003	corona with a 1G GTE or 1G GZE Thu, 19 February 2004 08:44 i was just bowsing through the forum and it seems that the 1GGTE or 1GGZE seems to be a very popular choice for those who to make an engine swap in a Corona. I have an 86 Corona RT 142 CSi and i was wondering how easily the 1GGTE goes into a corona's engine bay, is it a bolt in job or is there more to it. I would also like to know if i would have to change and part of the drive line eg... Diff and Gearbox. I have never done an engine conversion before so if my questions seem a little bit stupid sorry. i do no someone who would be able to help me alot with the conversion but i haven't got an idea of what engine to use. cheers for all your help [Updated on: Thu, 19 February 2004 08:45] [Report message to a moderator]
