What cars did they come in factory?
Who makes aftermarket ones?
and...
Are they 1, 1.5 or 2-way? from factory

Cheers

They were available in MA61 Supras, RA6x Celicas (very rare), and 4WD Liteaces. Those are the only ones I know about.

How hard would it be to addapt one of these diffs to the AE86??
Are they substantially stronger than the 4AC AE86 diffs here in OZ?? What about the brakes?? Are they disks?? stud pattern and offset the same as the sprinter?

Soz for the questions,
Adrian!

In my ma61 they are an IRS diff so you've got no chance of fitting one into a sprinter(sprinkler) and they have disc brakes but they have nothing to do with the diff.
99.99999% they are 1 way.

My F Series is out of a MS112 crown, so its a live axle. I had the local diff shop, chop all the mounts off the 86 diff and mount them on the MS112 diff (after they chopped the 112 mounts off of course).

Its 261mm Disc Brake, Drum Handbrake and its roughly 25mm longer on each side, so I use R32 Skyline (16"x6.5"+40) wheels with 205/50R16 tires.

Just need an LSD, else it'll be the locker Smile
