Hi
I have recently purchased a Celica (Model above) and i believe it may have a stuffed head gasket. Gets very hot very quickly and little white lumps float out of the radiator, no white stuff under the oil cap though.

I have been doing a little bit of research as to the purchase of a replacement motor, as putting a head gasket on a 200,000k old motor is a waste of time, unless you rebuild the rest. Which would cost more then importing a half-cut (I can fit a motor, but don't have the necessary tools or know how to rebuild one)

I am just curious as to how much screwing around it would be to fit a 3SGTE-ST185 or 3SGTE-ST205 motor rather then a stock 5SFE motor. I would be keeping just a front wheel drive setup.

Any help or a point in the right direction would be much appreciated.
Thanks
Leon
