Toyota Corolla AE92 1989. Altlas Grey, colour coded door handles and bumpers. Paint in good condition. Very small dent in bonnet and a parking blemish on left hand door.
Suspension & Brakes - Stage 1 lowered Jamex springs replaced approx 10,000kms ago , pedders gas shocks ( came with car), heavy duty whiteline rear sway bar. 17inch Altstars rims (look awesome) with 205/40 tyres. Two tyres Ok, the other two need replacing. They are only worn on one edge. Still perform great. 260mm Ventilated front discs and calipers from the front cut. Huge improvement on standard.
Engine - 4AGE 20 valve, 120kw. pod filter with cold air feed, quad throttle bodies, variable valve timing, extractors and 2 1/4 inch exhaust.
This car has 295K kms but the conversion was done (paint, suspensions, wheels etc) in December 2001. The car was purchased at around 270k kms off the guy who performed all the mods at 264k kms. So all up the car has done 30k kms since it was pretty much totally rebuilt. Since purchased the oil and oil filter has been changed every 5k kms with fully synthetic oil. The car is totally engineered for all mods. There is a surge tank and high flow fuel pump as well. New drive shafts have just been installed.
Now for the inside
Stereo- Pioneer deck, Pioneer 5inch splits in front doors, Pioneer 5 inch 2 ways in rear parcel shelf. Stereo cost approx $1000 only six months ago. There is a Momo steering wheel as well.
Alarm - Cyclops 3 way cut, knock sensor, keyless entry to central locking. Alarm was installed at same time as stereo.
These are the good points to the car however I will let you know about the cons of the car as well.
Small dent in bonnet, paint chip in side door, some of the plastic trims have faded, but are still good for the age. Power steering belt and pulley has been removed (have belt but pulley has been lost), Air conditioning was not installed when conversion was done. Interior has seen better days. The drivers seat has a tear, both front door trims has wear marks, and some of the seats have small stains in them. The car would need two tyres a wheel alignment and balance.
I am selling this car for a friend and have tried to describe it as acurately as possible. All in all this is a beautiful car to drive. It is an enthusiasts car and has been treasured. With a bit of a tidy up with the interior this car would be an all round looker. Please email for pics or if you have any more questions. Cheers. Car is in Canberra.
Price $5000 firm.
