A/C units

As part of Project X, I wish to install A/C. However, I need a smallish unit that fits entirely within the cabin. The car is spacious but I don't want the unit to intrude too much. I wish to keep the vehicle very original looking and thus the unit should be reasonably inconspicuous.
Any ideas on which cars have small A/C units? I know it's sacreligious, but they don't even have to come from a Toyota...
