 Rt104 Radiator Questions

Hi People,
I am considering buying a Rt104 Auto Corona.
The guy reckons the Radiator redlines it,but stays at the same position sort of quickly-ish.
Any idea's as to the problem & I need some answers in regards to this problem.
Also,what else do I need to check out on this car.
All seem's well,But some fairly common problems to watch for & how to fix them would be greatly appreciated.
