Why don't you work on Primary School level English and Literacy skills before worrying about complicated things like hydraulics.

You mean hydraulic adjustable suspension. I hear airbag adjustable is used on some busses, so I can't imagine how they can make them illegal.
I see a big point to hydraulic/air bag adjustables. You know those big ass speed humps that make you all cringe? Yeah, well it would make getting over them easy if you could adjust the suspension ride height from 100mm to 150mm.
Would also be good for those of you who like illegal cars. Drop your ride height to say 80mm, then have it bumped up to 120mm when driving around normally, drop it down with the flick of a switch at the ah... track.

Airbag suspension if fitted correctly and made to Australian Standards is legal. The Australian Standards regarding them are not too harsh and there are lots of road legal kits out there available. Most fit common cars like, Commodores, Jap Riceboxes and minitrucks.
FT Customs do a lot of minitrucks.
BurninCustoms do kits for a wide range of vehicals
and I'm told theres Suborn in Moorabbin that also do adjustable air suspension.
Note: When I enquired about a kit for my Cressida I was quoted $3200 for the kit plus fitting. A lot of places said they couldn't get a kit for my car full stop.

Anyway, if/when (in about three years hopfully) I get my JZA80 I'll probably be dropping it to 105mm and putting in adjustable suspension (As long as it doesn't ruin rode holding) so that I can make it over speed humps without worries.

Why man? I thought you were sensible, hydrolics on a sports car are for pretenders - guys with small dicks who want to draw attention to themselves. Fast And Furious anyone?

'cuz, if I have a car that rides 105mm, it will be hell to drive in and out of driveways and over speed humps. If I can at the flick of a switch set it up to 150mm, I get all the joy of a properly lowered car, without the dented/punctured catalitic converters and exausts.
That is, of course, if the suspension still holds the road well. If it doesn't, then screw that for a joke.

peddars quoted me on some nice springs, and adfjutable shocks, not airbags,
so wen u circuit race u just drop ur car that bit extra etc,
this was only 4000 all up, nice if u had a good circuit racing car and 4000

From my research Hydraulics in Aust. are illegal on a road car, Airbags are not but may require engineering as usually you need to relocate the shock to clear the bag.(usually in the rear)
As for ride quality they are very good in terms of being less bumpy on a similarly lowered vehicle. I'd like to find out how different they are in the handling stakes, as from what I understand you need to have pressure in them to get the handling up.(ie lifting the car.)
